The Club’s rich history dates back to 1924, when Charles Hall developed the Lakewood Estates neighborhood and enlisted renowned golf course architect Herbert Strong to design a course that would wind through the area’s natural landscape. From its earliest days, the clubhouse became a vibrant social hub for members and their guests, while the course itself welcomed many legendary PGA players who left their mark on these historic grounds.

More than a century later, St. Petersburg Country Club continues to honor that legacy. The staff remains committed to creating a warm, inviting atmosphere where members feel at home; an enduring “home away from home” defined by attentive service, lasting traditions, and a strong sense of community.
